Q2'23 MSHA Update
With most of the Q2 2023 MSHA production numbers in, I think its time to look under the hood and see what’s going on. It looks like overall Met coal will be down around 1% quarter over quarter (QoQ), up 8.9% YoY, and up 11.2% on a YTD basis. Thermal coal is down 5% QoQ, down 3.7% YoY, and down 2.8% on a YTD basis.
